Timeform expert Billy Nash has picked out his best bets ahead of Tuesday’s meeting at Limerick.

Check out his chat with Paddy Power TV’s Graham Byrne in the video below.

This is quite an interesting race, and I think there are two to focus on. Ted Walsh’s Hardwired has the best hurdles form. He ran pretty well at Wexford the last day, fishing third to Gibberwell, and that is the best form on offer.

But I think LIGHT BRIGADE is a better horse. He had a higher Timeform rating in bumpers, although he was little bit disappointing at Listowel the last day when he was odds-on favourite – he pulled far too hard on that occasion. The winner of that race, Jesse Evans, has franked that form since and Light Brigade has plenty of potential. I’m hoping that he will be fancied, jumping shouldn’t be an issue and he will be too good for Hardwired.

I like the top horse on Timeform ratings here – DESSIE’S DIAMOND from the Paul Flynn stable. He arrives here in good heart, having placed on his last two starts. He had a good run behind Sadies Trix at Fairyhouse last week and hopefully that hasn’t taken too much out of him. If that’s the case, he’s the one to beat in what doesn’t look a great race at all.

Moll Dote might be the big danger but dropping back to two miles might catch her out as her best form is over further. You could make a case for Stoneyford Boy, stepping into handicap company for the first time, but Dessie’s Diamond has been found a good opportunity. I don’t know much about the young rider, Eoin Kelly, but Paul Flynn seems to be giving him plenty of opportunities so that’s good enough for me.

The ground is going to be very heavy at Limerick, and it’s interesting to note that the racing is going to take place on the inside track as opposed to the outer track, because of ground conditions. That might play to the strengths of my selection here BALLYMADUN from the Dermot McLoughlin stable.

He comes here on the back of a good recent run, having finished second to Wadiyatink at Fairyhouse last week. A reproduction of that run should be good enough for Ballymadun, who is a three-time winner hurdles – and you can’t say that about many more in this field. Provided that race hasn’t taken too much out of him, he will take a lot of beating. He has form at three miles, but is probably best around two-and-a-half and this will not be a particular test of stamina.

We’ve saved the best until last, as this is definitely the best race of the day and the most interesting. It’s a really cracking contest, but it leaps off the page when you see Patrick Mullins riding one for Gavin Cromwell despite Willie Mullins having a runner in the race.

Willie runs a horse called Eurotiep, who was runner-up in two bumpers last year, but Patrick keeps his ride on VINTAGE PROSSECO who he rode first time out at Down Royal and finished third to the very well-touted Sir Gerhard. Obviously he must have liked what he saw on that occasion and you would imagine Vintage Prosseco will take a bit of beating but he certainly won’t have it all his own way.

You’ve got the likes of Mahlers Dollar who has placed in three bumpers and you’ve got Mind Your Money from the Henry de Bromhead stable who was actually first past the post first time out but was disqualified for causing interference. That was in a race where the Gordon Elliot-trained Calagogo was back in third. Lots of form to be interested in, and certainly a race that will throw up plenty of future winners.
