There is not much you can do with $54.50 these days as is the way of the world. That relatively low sum, however, could see you pad your bankroll with a substantial slice of $1 million. How is that possible, we hear you ask. Because this week’s Sunday Million at PokerStars is available to enter for half its usual price.
Buying into the PokerStars Sunday Million usually sets you back $109, but it only costs $54.50 on June 20; that is this coming Sunday! The structure remains the same as on any other week, as does the $1 million guarantee on the prize pool, but the buy-in is halved to $54.50.
Your $54.50 investment secures you a 10,000 starting stack of chips to take to the PokerStars virtual felt. Blinds start at 25/50/5a and increase every 12 minutes for the first ten levels before switching to 15 minutes blinds thereafter.
It is possible to make up to three re-entries during late registration, which remains open for the first 3.25 hours after the first cards are pitched at 6:00 p.m. BST on June 20.
The half-price Sunday Million is a two-day affair. Day 1 concludes after 9.5 hours before resuming at 6:00 p.m. BST on June 21. The tournament then plays out until only one player has all the chips in play.
While $54.50 pits this week’s Sunday Million at the more affordable end of the buy-in scale, PokerStars is till running dozens of satellites for it. These start at a mere $0.55 and run right through to the target tournament starting.

The Sunday Sale Returns to 888poker
It is not only at PokerStars where you can find some half-price tournaments because 888poker is running its popular Sunday Sale promotion on June 20.
888poker has selected a trio of its biggest Sunday tournaments and slashed their buy-ins while retaining their juicy guarantees.
$27.50 is all it costs on June 20 to buy into the Sunday Sale Big Shot event. This $25,000 guaranteed tournament shuffles up and deals at 6:00 p.m. BST. An hour later, the biggest, in terms of prize pool, event of the Sunday sale gets underway. The Sunday Sale Main Event only costs $55 this week yet has a cool $150,000 guaranteed to be won by the time the final payout is made.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Sunday Sale High Roller, which comes with a $265 buy-in and a $50,000 guarantee on its prize pool.
All three of these 888poker tournaments are great value at their original buy-in level, so are doubly so now the cost of entering is slashed.

Get Involved in the partypoker World Cup of Cards
partypoker is hosting the 2021 edition of the World Cup of Cards and two of the early tournaments have caught our eye. The WCC #01 Grand Prix Knockout and WCC #01 Mini Grand Prix Knockout have each completed half a dozen of their Day 1s but there are plenty more scheduled between June 18-24.
The larger of the two events costs $55 and has an impressive $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Mini edition commands a buy-in of only $5.50 yet features a prize pool guaranteed to be at least $50,000.
It does not matter if you enter the $55 or $5.50 buy-in event because you will be treated to the same impressive structure in each. The blinds and clock are exactly the same, as are the 12-level late registration period and the single permitted re-entry.
